About the project

Grass Gremlins was entrusted with a comprehensive demolition project involving the dismantling and disposal of a substantial playground set, a storage shed, and a concrete foundation. This task was a preparatory step for the installation of an inground swimming pool, requiring meticulous planning and execution to ensure a clear and safe area for the upcoming construction.

The key objective of this project was to methodically clear the site, removing significant structures that had been long-standing features in the area. The playground set, storage shed, and their respective foundations needed careful dismantling to avoid any disruption to the surrounding property.

Challenges & solutions

Challenges:
One of the primary challenges was the removal of large posts that were anchored 3 feet deep into the ground with concrete. This posed a significant obstacle in accessing and clearing the area effectively.

Solutions:
Our team employed specialized equipment and techniques to safely and efficiently extract these posts. This involved careful excavation around the concrete bases and the use of leverage and machinery to remove the posts intact. Once these posts were successfully removed, the demolition process proceeded smoothly, allowing for a timely completion of the project.

Outcome

The project was concluded with a thorough and effective demolition of all designated structures. Every element, including the playground set, shed, and concrete foundation, was dismantled, removed, and disposed of responsibly. The site was left clear, clean, and perfectly prepped for the next phase of the swimming pool installation, with the client satisfied with our swift and professional handling of the project.
